Schedules for Weeks 2/29 and 3/7

Good morning,

Here is this week's schedule:

Charito will sub for me on Thursday! Please note there is no class on Friday or Saturday, BUT you can join Charito at Crunch as her guest! Friday Zumba at 6pm and Saturday at 10am

Here is the following week's Schedule:

Charito will sub for me on Tuesday, and I will be back to Shake and Groove with you on Thursday (and there will be Toning and Cize on Friday, YAY!) 

Now that the schedule for the following 2 weeks are set, I wanted to thank you for supporting Friday's fundraiser at Crunch! the energy was awesome!

In my personal fitness journey I finally finished the push phase of Chalean Extreme. I will put on hold before moving unto the Lean Phase :) My eating plan is going a lot BETTER, and that makes me happy :)

I will see you guys tomorrow night!

Week Schedule 2.22.16

Good morning! here is this week's schedule :

We have a fun week ahead! you will notice there is no class this Friday at Flor de Mexico, HOWEVER we will have a 90min Zumba class at Crunch at 6pm, this is open to you guys, just say you are my guest, and give $10 for the ALS Fundraiser and receive a crunch t-shirt and you get to dance for 90min! how cool and fun is that?! 

On Friday and Sunday I got to dance with two of my favorite zumba instructors! Meli and Cheryl! I just love Cheryl dramatic facial expressions and Meli's off the chart energy? it was just pretty awesome :) 

On Saturday I also went to Efren's jam session, I learned 4 new choreos.  I will bring 3 this week! Get ready for a revamped playlist! I am bringing a couple of my own choreo and some inspired from the MC this weekend :) (if you are a Crunch Zumba buddy, my crunch playlist won't get revamped until March ;) 

I haven't finished week 4 of the Push Phase of my weight training. I just need one more workout to do for me to move on the Lean phase.  I will push to finish the last workout tonight, so that on Wed night I can start my first Lean phase workout! In terms of eating I am getting a better handle from that side. At least I am feeling a lot better than how I was feeling just 2 weeks ago.

Week 2/15/16 Schedule

Good morning!

Here is this week's schedule

Please note there is no Friday Classes! Thank you so much for supporting Zumba Toning Class on Friday and Cize:) We continue next week! we are rockin Cize! 

A few annoucements, for those students that are waiting for earlier classes I have good news starting in April we will start earlier.  In March I will do a survey, the time availables can be 6:15pm, 6:30pm, 7pm or 7:15pm :) Also, In a couple of weeks I am doing a lighting trip to Mexico to go visit my dad, I am going to surprise him!Charito will sub for me on 3/3 and 3/8.  There will be no Friday 3/4 or Saturday 3/9 class.  So please note that! 

I am still trying to finish up Week 4 of the Push Phase of Chalean Extreme, it needs to be finished this week! I am also participating in a 21 day Shake Shake Shake clean eating challenge.  The Shake Shake is a vegan protein shake developed by Zumba! it's simple and surprisingly fun! I like to see what people are eating, how they are preppin.  As soon as I am done, stay tuned because I will do a challenge with us!

Week of 2/8/16

Good Morning!
Hope you had a great weekend! Here is this week's schedule!

Last week was our kick off for our Friday classes! it was awesome! We set the tone with Zumba Toning! then we closed the night with some Cize Live! it was very fun! So what exactly is Cize? well it's a Choreograph Dance Routine for EVERYDAY People! it's not really a dance class, it's a dance fitness format.  We are constantly moving. Through out the class you will learn 8 moves and at the end end of the class we will put the 8 moves together to a specific song.  In the next 5-6 weeks our Cize it Up song will be One Last Time! last Friday was our first time and it was super fun, I loved how we interacted and laughed together! so come out this Friday and let's Cize it Up!  We made a video :) I am not posting yet, but if you want to look at it, we can do a show and tell in class tomorrow :)

A status on my personal journey.  Last week I finished up week 3 of Push Phase of Chalean Extreme.  This week I should finish week 4.  My struggle is still the food...I am struggling, big time! But I am determined to get the type of food I am eating back into a happy balance for me.  I know I can't give up bread 100%, or chocolate 100%...but I do want to minimize my intake :) when I eat chocolate or pastries I want to eat it and enjoy it...that does not mean I want to eat chocolate and bread everyday :) which is what I am basically been doing.   So slowly but surely.  This week my goal is to eat at home :) and avoid take outs and restaurants.  What are some of your goals? Share with me and we keep accountable together!

New Month! New Things!

Happy February!

Here is this month's schedule 

Did you notice the back to back classes on Friday? YAY! thank you very much for voting! The 6pm time slot and the Back to Back option were tied! Zumba toning had the most votes followed closely by Cize and PiYo!  7pm *only* was  checked by 2 students only.  So based on this 6pm will be Zumba Toning, and since I need to challenge myself and get myself out of my comfort zone (piYo was totally out of my comfort zone, but I did it!) so I am pushing myself to give you the best Cize Live EVER! LOL so there you have it! if you truly want to do PiYo I invite you to join at Crunch San Lorenzo for my Yoga Sculpt class Monday's at 6:30pm and Sunday's at 10:30am!

This weekend was filled with family events as well as Zumba events, and I am feeling energized and tired at the same time! thank you guys for joining on Friday to an AWESOME Master Class in San Jose with ZJs Meli and Rob, it was filled with so much energy! 

Don't forget there 2 special events this month that I plan to go to, let's go! get your tickets :) You guys have no idea how excited I am about these Master Classes.  As you know I am a Meli groupie, if I can go to her events you know I will be there.  Cheryl Hall was one of my favorite Jammers when I first became an instructor, and was sad for me, but happy for her when she became a Zes (Zumba Educational Specialist) 

Guess what?! This Feb 4th is my Zumba Anniversary! I got my Zumba Training on 2/4/12 with the Padilla Couple Zes) So this Thursday I will have a special playlist with MY favorite songs! 

I have another announcement :) Zumba formulated their own Shake....if you know I am a beachbody coach, and really enjoy their Shakeology for my health.  I am super Happy Zumba came out with their own, and it's filled with basic but good things your body needs! probiotics, vegan protien, enzymes...although Shakeology is good, it's also packed with so much vitamins, that your body gets bombarded with and more than likely won't get absorbed.  You should get your vitamins and minerals from food anyway! that's right veggies and fruits ;) and it taste really good! Stay tuned because I will be holding challenges on clean portion control, and you don't even have to do the shake if you don't want.  I just want us to get back on track on feeding our bodies with the right foods...getting into that habit of feeding our body because our bodies are working hard for us.    

Oh and I did mention to a few of you that I have Zumba Shirts for sell! $10 so remind me if you want to buy some, I tend to forget to make the annoucements in class
