Week 1.25.16

Good morning! 

Hope you had an amazing weekend! Here is this week's schedule (Same :) 

This weekend I got Cize Trained! how many of you took Dori's demo? did you enjoy it? would you like this format to come to TrueFit? It was fun! I won't lie it was a bit challenging for me :) 

Last week I mentioned I missed Zumba Toning....and then I thought the dance floor is not being used at Flor De Mexico on Friday Nights.  SO I did a survey on FB, some of you answered but I need to hear from more of you :) we can do 1 or 2 classes (back to back) start early 6:00pm and 7:00pm.  One of the formats will be Toning ;) it's a toss up really what could be the 2nd format.  We can do PiYo (very much needed especially for you guys that are just my little cardio energy beasts!) we can go for Insanity...strength (you are using your body) and Cardio, we can rock out and Pound away the stress...or Kick and Punch with Turbo Kick (by the way TK is getting re-vamped the next round that is coming out will be MUCH Simpler and there will more rehearsal moves during the sections leading up to the Turbo Drill, I can't wait to see the new round) we can go Bolly! I LOVE India rhythms...and NOW we can even include CIZE! LOL...way too many options, but I want to HEAR from you! if you can post on FB that would be awesome! but I will also have a written survey this week and next.  I am hoping we can have our 1st Friday class on  2/5.  Please note Friday classes may get cancelled due to special EVENTS so make sure to check the weekly schedules.

Speaking of SPECIAL Events Here are some special events I will be attending.  I know some of you are coming with me this Friday so let's coordinate so we can carpool! 

Trust me when I say these events will be so worth it!  and they do sell out, so make sure to purchase your tickets at :)

Week 1/18/16

Good morning TrueFitt'ers!

Hope you all had a great weekend.

Here is this week's schedule

it's basically the same :) except I am really hoping this Saturday I will have a Zumba toning playlist for you.  After Friday's class with Meli and Abraham (Thanks Dorinda for joining me!) I

realized how much I miss it.  Late last year I took Meli's workshop called Spark.  And basically shows you how to build a cardio sculpt class effectively and safely, and keeping it FUN!  I really want to start implementing those concepts. So for now I will need to keep my Zumba Toning as is until I create a new playlist with the SPARK concepts...and I will probably need to rename the class :) 

I also went to my first jam session of the year! Do you guys remember this song? I tried to put choreo to it, but it's a hard song! lot's of elements, and it doesn't follow a pattern per I asked the professional (Meli :) and she delivered! so I am bringing this song back! So 5 new choreo for you tomorrow! I am going to have a hard time putting a playlist for you guys, so to keep my zumba heart happy (and probably yours too!) I will have 2 different playlist for TrueFit...say what?! yeah so make sure come and check out which playlist will we burn calories too ;) There are some songs from Jams that I did when we didn't have a location, that I need to bring so that they stay in my memory banks. 

Last week I planned my meals, and the days that I scheduled no chocolate, and I stuck to it.  So this week I am doing the same.  I am taking this year One week at a time, I need to get my groove back.  That includes adding strength training.   Last week I completed the 1st week of the Push Phase of Chalean Extreme.  I decided to move forward with the 2nd phase instead of re-starting, (I finished the 1st phase in early December and did not start phase 2 until last week) I don't do the cardio portions of the programs since I get my cardio with Zumba ;) and my recovery with PiYo.

Week 1/11/16

Good morning!

Hope you all had a great weekend! here is this week's schedule:

Please remember that the Holiday Sale will end on Saturday and it's 2 class cards for $80 (20 classes)

This upcoming weekend will be my first jam of the year! and I am pretty excited it's with my favorite jammer Meli, so it's going to be good!

This Friday I am also going to San Francisco for A Zumba Toning class  with Meli and Abraham.  I will be riding  bart, but if you want to join me I will be at the Bart Station on B Street (Hayward) and will try to catch the 5:50pm train.   

Last year was an "off" year for me, too much things were happening, and from past experience when I feel unbalanced or tackling too much things that were not unexpected, I tend to spiral with my schedule which affects my eating habits.   So this year I need to get back on scheduling...I got a planner! So last night I sat down and I planned this week's dinners and my personal workouts outs.  I will get a handle on things again. 

For this 1st quarter of 2016 I think we will remain at Flor de Mexico, and probably the 2nd quarter.  In March or April we have the opportunity to have back to back classes, and one class that I will be bringing new will be a weight training class so stay tune for that!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Hope you all had a great New Year! Thank you so much for coming and working out with me during these last 2 weeks! The classes were small and intimate :) 

Here is this week's Schedule:

So it seems like there was a typo when I did the December promotion.  I meant it was going to be over on 12/31/15 however due to my typo and that I am not accepting credit cards/debit cards at the moment.  I will extend the promotion until next 1/16/16 (saturday) you can get 1 card of 10 classes for $45 or 2 cards of 10 classes each for $80.
