OMG my friends! so sorry that I've neglected my blog. Without going to much into it, its been stressful at work, all of a sudden there is deadlines and at the same time become knowledgable of things that I wasn't before. Unfortunately that means that my thoughts were pushed to the back burner...but on the bright side my workouts have not been pushed to the back burner :). I've been bringing it and I am on the second phase of P90X. I feel great!
I've been thinking a lot of ways on how to get motivated to workout. As mothers (doesn't matter if we are a stay at home mom or a working mom and taking care of the home duties at the same time) it feels like there are just not enough time in the day to workout. We get discouraged. Just know that we all have the same time in a day, we are busy, so the Big Dollar Question: How to get motivated to workout? I can share with you my answer...we all have the answer within ourselves, we just need to dig deeper. I am sharing my own answer with you to help you find that fire that will help keep active everyday.
I had to change my thinking. As Jin Rohn would say, I changed my philosophy. My motive to getting in shape shifted from "Looking Sexy" to "Having the stamina and being healthy for my family" sounds cliche but its the truth. As a mom my priority is being there for my kids and my husband. I can't become sick. I can't become tired. I need to be there for them, support and take care of them both emotionally and financially so I can't let my health deteriorate. If finding the time to workout is getting up 30-45min earlier, then I will. Not just for me but for my family as well. Its about them, which means that my fitness and health is about me. Its what I do to improve myself for them. Totally worth it. Thats what works for me, thats my answer to that Big Dollar Question. Whats your answer? What's going to motivate you? is it your health? if you focus on your health, and leave the esthetics (how I look, how others view me) behind, then success will be easier to achieve because the focus will be on how you feel and that in it self is a great motivator!

Where am I?
Hi Guys!
First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR! Its a time for new beginning and I am ready!
Well first, I want to say that I am loving my body bugg. Its a great fitness tool, and if you are going to use the information that it gives you and tweak your fitness programs and nutrition accordingly its worth the investment. When I don't work out it turns out that I burn around 1800 calories. After 3 weeks of using my body bugg the pattern was establish that I was burning the same amount I was eating around 2200 calories a day. SO, I am eating same amount as if I wanted to maintain my weight, which I am not. So I am now eating no more than 1800 calories, and not below 1500 calories (But mostly the higher calorie range. After this month of using it I will let you know if my tweak worked :)
This year I also started P90X, today is day 8 of 90. So far so good, and I was given the go ahead that even if my husband has to miss a day ( in case he has to workout late) I can go ahead and do the workout without him! LOL so far he hasn't missed a workout either. Still I can't seem to let go of Turbo so I am also doing Turbo in the AM sometimes...and I also got the RevAbs. When I have time in the AM to workout I am alternating between Turbo Fire and Rev Abs. It should be an exciting 90 days for my body I can't wait for April to come around!
Another resolution for 2011 is to get myself organize, so I am also doing Chalene Johnson 30 day challenge. I don't have a phone for my to - do - list so for now I am doing my to do list in excel, as well as writing it down in a little notebook so that I can carry that with me at all times, and open up the excel file when I am working in the office. But another goal is to purchase a smart phone...not anytime soon, but hopefully in the next 90 days!
I have a lot to accomplish in the 90 Days, and I am determine to win :) Lets do this! What are you goals for the next 90 days?

Balance - Inspired by Coaches' Blog
Hi Guys!
Well yesterday I read my coaches Blog and she talks about balance. We can't over do" it" or we can hinder the results of our goals, be that fitness or whatever area in your personal life. It struck home to me. My scale has been stuck between 138 and 140 (depends on the time of the month) for over 2 months now. I've been working out both in the AM and the PM. My eating has been good...not perfect, but has been the same since early this year. I also read this great article today from beachbody about not eating enough? well I am not sure what my situation might be but I am determine to find out! I got my body bugg last week! I still need to set up my account...I will do so tonight! am I undereating?overeating? I know I am working out ;) am I over training? what ever the reason I will find out with my new tool! With that said...I guess I really shouldn't focus too much on that number! To tell the truth I am feeling GREAT! I am getting up in the morning between 5:30am to 5:45am to workout, and in the PM I usually don't go to bed until about 11pm....I am only running on 6 hours sleep and I know I am getting a good night sleep, I feel refresh in the morning. Its been A LONG TIME since I've felt burned out, with 5 kids I was constantly tired. I remember last year when everytime I took a picture my face always looked tired, my eyes seemed lazy, and now I look alive in my pictures. The way I feel inside is being reflected in the pictures! So I really shouldn't get bumbed out about the number on the scale...my frame is a lot smaller and that is something!
